In honor of their 50th year in business, Taylor is introducing a series of Limited Edition models. The 50th Anniversary 314ce LTD is crafted with a torrefied Sitka spruce top and solid sapele back and sides a tone wood combination that produces a strong midrange with a warm, woody low end. Taylor’s unique torrefaction roasting process on the spruce top gives the trebles a touch of vintage clarity and sweetness. The 314ce LTD features some cosmetic upgrades including a full-body gloss finish, a subtle shaded edgeburst around the body and neck, and gold-plated tuning machines. Like all 50th Anniversary Collection models the 314ce LTD features a limited-edition label, and production will be limited to 1,974 guitars worldwide. This model includes ES2 electronics and a hardshell case.
