Details
The Fender Postmodern Journeyman Telecaster takes classic Tele designs and blends them with modern playability. The bound top is finished in Aztec Gold, paired with a black back, for a distinctly “goldtop” aesthetic. The lightweight ash body wears a thin nitro Journeyman relic treatment, subtly aged with light finish checking and wear. A 9.5"–12" compound-radius fingerboard and 6105 frets make bending effortless, while the contoured heel provides easy access all the way up the neck. The ’51 Nocaster bridge pickup, that sits in a reversed RSD Tele ashtray bridge, is snappy and clear, while the Seymour Duncan Seth Lover neck pickup balances beautifully with it, and delivers a full, articulate tone on its own. This is a Tele that feels familiar and practical, with a unique look that stands out on stage, or just about anywhere else it is being played. Includes its original hardshell case, bridge cover, spec sheet, and COA.
