Take one look at this Les Paul and you’ll immediately notice the striking, highly figured top. Once reserved only for custom shop instruments, this run of guitars features some of Gibson’s highest-grade wood — this guitar, in particular, sports a highly flamed AAA Maple top with Dirty Lemon Burst finish. As something of a 60’s reissue, the guitar features the combination of a slim taper neck profile and two PAF style humbucking pickups. The pickups were specifically designed for this run of guitars and were engineered to have a sweet, articulate tone; they are slightly underwound, giving the guitar a bit less bite than your standard PAF. This guitar still absolutely growls when pushing an amp, but the lower output adds definition and clarity to chords, making it easy to hear each individual note.
Cosmetically, this guitar is in excellent condition with relatively little signs of wear. Being critical, you can still find some small, randomly placed scratches located along the top and back of the guitar. There are a couple of dings in the center of the back. Otherwise, it’s in pristine condition. The frets are in perfect working order, and the set-up is fantastic.
