Details
Here's an especially clean example of the ES-330 from the first year Gibson gave this model the same 19-frets-clear neck to body layout as the ES-335. Original finish has only light lacquer checking, and the deep vibrant colors suggest this Gibson has seen very little UV exposure during its long life. The frets show enough light wear to tell us it did get played, but the player sure was careful! Pickguard has only light scuffs, but the finish on the back is free of belt-buckle, jean rivet, and shirt button squiggles and the finish on the top is about as close to flawless as we've seen. Minor issue is that the G-string tuner button shaft is bent, but the gear works just fine.
While it has its original P-90 pickups, the hidden charm of these 330s is that because the body is truly hollow, they deliver a believable and pleasing practice tone when played as an acoustic. Includes original hardshell case.
