Details
An exceptionally clean and original 000-18. Original finish, tuners, pickguard and bridge, and has had both a neck reset and refret. Bridge height was reduced slightly (almost certainly to enable lower string action before the neck was reset) ."Made in USA" stamp on back of headstock indicates this was made for export, probably to Canada.
No cracks, different sheen to finish on neck barrel behind nut is from the neck rest in an earlier case, minor nicks around the nut itself is from a hanger or stand yoke.
Nice even tone and new-guitar playability. It's great to see a Martin coming up on its 75th birthday that has seen a fair amount of use but has apparently always enjoyed respectful handling.
