Details
A very clean and completely original Larrivee from 30+ years ago. Jean Larrivee and his crew have undergone a lot of moves over his long career but this example is from their Victoria, B.C. years. There's only light fret wear, and what appears to be a top crack below the bridge has been repaired and cleated (for most of its length this isn't a crack but a glue seam separation between the two halves of the book-matched top.)
Besides the beauty of the abalone bordering and engraved pearl & abalone fretboard inlays, this D-10 has a rich rosewood-D tone and the playability and comfort of Larrivee's classic C-shape neck profile with 1 3/4" width at the nut. .
