Details
Martin introduced this model, their first 14-frets-clear 12-string, in 1970 and it's been a mainstay in the Standard Series ever since, making the D12-28 the most long-running American acoustic 12-string. It's easy to see why, as this model can handle just about any role you need an acoustic 12-string to cover, and the Fishman Matrix pickup handles your plugged-in needs as well.
There's no sign of any repairs, or any being needed, and it appears to be original throughout. The lack of fret wear, or playing wear (including an almost scratch-free pickguard), suggests this D12-28 was purchased but just never saw much use. That should change, and we hope the next owner puts it to work!
