As of 2026, the Rick Turner team has revamped the line with thoughtful upgrades while keeping the core of these iconic models intact. These updated versions sport a figured redwood top bound in black binding, complemented by a gloss-finished maple neck and mahogany back and sides. A new Contoured Arm Bevel makes this new iteration incredibly comfortable to play, seamlessly matching the instrument's elegant aesthetics.
The onboard electronics are where these guitars truly shine, delivering some of the most authentic, acoustic-sounding tones available when plugged into most amplification systems. Built to be exceptionally quiet and highly feedback-resistant, the Renaissance system is perfect for stage use and studio recording. The 18v preamp provides a ton of headroom, with no worries of clipping whichever system you’re plugging into.
