Details
Martin's Custom Shop didn't skimp on the wood upgrades for this D-18 model, made in 2016 to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the first Dreadnought models made for Oliver Ditson & Co. We don't know if other examples of this Limited Edition got the nicely figured mahogany seen on the back of this one, but the Adirondack top and Adirondack bracing with Golden Era specs was evidently standard. The result is that classic Martin mahogany dreadnought tone and clarity, with all the headroom you could wish for (and, if you really do need even more volume, the Baggs iBeam Active has you covered). Very comfy 1 3/4" wide neck.
Condition is excellent+, a couple of shallow dents to the finish on the top but only the lightest fret wear. Original case with Martin badge is equally clean.
