After years of success with the modern Ultra models, Fender has introduced a vintage-inspired Ultra that blends classic aesthetics with modern playability. The new American Ultra Luxe Vintage series captures Fender’s timeless style while incorporating the comfort and performance refinements they’ve perfected over the years. For this more retro take, Fender brought ash bodies back to the Ultra line, finished in an aged Heirloom lacquer with light checking for a naturally “broken-in” feel. The White Blonde finish highlights the ash grain beautifully.
The neck has a comfortable modern “D” profile with a 10”-14” compound radius fingerboard, also finished in the aged lacquer, and a tapered neck heel for effortless upper-register access. The neck is quartersawn maple with medium jumbo stainless-steel frets.
This Strat is fitted with a 2-Point American Ultra synchronized tremolo with polished stainless steel block saddles, cold rolled steel block, and deluxe locking tuners for quick string changes and superior tuning stability. The real vintage magic comes from the electronics: a set of Pure Vintage ’57 Strat pickups delivering the glassy, scooped tone Strat players love. This guitar comes in a classic tweed hardshell Fender case.
