Details
The American Vintage ’62 Jaguar is a faithful rendition of some of the first Jaguars that Fender made. The electronics layout remains consistent with the original, two ’62 style Jaguar single-coil pickups with their own on/off switch, and a “thin switch” to which acts as a hi-pass, and cuts low-end. The rhythm circuit on the bass-side puts the neck pickup through a different pots and capacitor to give it a much darker sound. Unlike some modern reissues, this one is finished in nitrocellulose lacquer, just like the originals. This model remains all original and is in really good shape. There is some light, honest playwear throughout, but only cosmetic. The frets are in good shape with a bit of wear, but it plays great everywhere on the neck. This one comes with its original brown Fender G&G case, with the trem bar, bridge cover, and mute inside.
