CHECK DESCRIPTION BEFORE USING
At first glance, the 657ce Doce Doble looks like a regular 12-string guitar but when you look more closely, you’ll notice that all the courses are tuned in unison and not octaves. This gives the guitar an amazing low end roar that is almost too much fun to play. The Doce Doble uses Big Leaf Maple for the back and sides and Sitka Spruce for the top. It’s based on the Grand Pacific round-shoulder dreadnought body shape and has V-Class bracing.
Like its sibling, the 657e Bajo Quinto, this beauty draws visual inspiration from classic Mexican guitar styles, with a sharp Florentine cutaway offering access to the upper register. It has a striking white pearloid pickguard with a matching truss rod cover, mother-of-pearl Mission inlays outlined in grained ivoroid, ebony bridge pins with green abalone dots, and gold mini-tuners. It’s fitted with Taylor’s own ES2 pickup system and ships in a deluxe Western Floral hardshell case.
